Event Manager
Odyssey Exposure — Columbus, OH area
$55,000–$68,000/year

About the Role
Ready to kick off your career in events? We're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Event Manager to plan and run pop-up events for our nonprofit clients around Columbus. This is a great opportunity for a recent grad or early-career professional who's organized, loves being on the go, and wants real, hands-on experience building a career in event management. You'll be the point person from concept to clean-up, managing timelines, budgets, client needs, and on-site logistics to make sure every event runs smoothly and reflects well on our clients' missions.

What You'll Do

Plan, coordinate, and execute pop-up events for nonprofit clients from initial concept through post-event wrap-up
Manage events, client timelines, and donor relationships
Serve as the main point of contact for nonprofit clients
Oversee on-site event logistics, including setup, run-of-show, and breakdown
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure adequate event staffing
Think on your feet and solve problems quickly
Conduct post-event debriefs and gather feedback to improve future events

What We're Looking For

No prior event experience required — we'll teach you the ropes! We're looking for drive, organization, and a great attitude
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple events/projects at once
Excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships
Ability to stay calm and adapt quickly when things change on-site
Comfortable using basic tools like Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits and events
