Front Desk Agent – Canopy by Hilton Columbus Downtown

Canopy by Hilton Columbus Downtown is looking for friendly, energetic, and service-focused individuals to join our Front Office team. As a Front Desk Agent, you'll be the first person our guests meet and the last person they see before they leave. Whether you're welcoming a first-time visitor to Columbus or recognizing a returning guest, you'll help create an experience that keeps guests coming back.

If you enjoy meeting new people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time opportunities available
First and second shifts
Weekend and holiday availability required

Pay & Benefits

Starting pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Answer guest questions and provide recommendations about the hotel and downtown Columbus.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Process reservations, payments, and billing accurately.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Answer phones, respond to guest requests, and assist with daily Front Office operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.

What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and passion for hospitality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
