Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Columbus, Ohio

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:30 - 07:30)
Hours/week: 36 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract / Travel
Licenses/Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA Certified)
Experience: Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience

Pay & Benefits:

Pay rate: $59.18/hour

What You’ll Do:

Provide specialized neuro ICU nursing care to critically ill patients
Monitor intracranial pressure, ventilators, and telemetry equipment
Initiate and manage IV access and intracranial pressure monitoring devices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Document patient care accurately within Epic electronic health record system
Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols, including AHA certifications

What You Need:

Valid licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications required)
Skills: IV Start, Ventilator management, Telemetry, Intracranial pressure monitoring
Ability to float within units, quick learner, team player
