Job Description

Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse

Speciality: MS/Telemetry

Unit : Medical Oncology

Location: Columbus, OH

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)

Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM)

Compensation Package:Weekly Gross Pay: $2,557/weekly($71 Hourly)Taxable Pay: $1,080/week ($30/hour)Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,477/weeklyThis Medical Oncology unit provides care for patients throughout their cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and end-of-life care.Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to Medical Oncology and MS/Telemetry patients.
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms.
Administer medications, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
Perform IV therapy and central line blood draws.
Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
Follow infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.
Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care MS/Telemetry RN experience.
Current and consistent experience within the last 12 months in the specialty applying for.
Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.
BLS Certification required.
Epic EMR experience preferred.
Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Mandatory Skills:

Telemetry Monitoring and Interpretation.
IV Therapy and Phlebotomy.
Blood Product Administration.
Central Line Blood Draws.
Starting and Maintaining IVs.
Dysrhythmia Recognition and Management.
Isolation Precautions and PPE Compliance.
