Full Job Description

Clariti Diagnostics Laboratories is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Specimen Processing Technician to join our growing clinical laboratory team.

As a privately owned, high-complexity laboratory, we are committed to delivering fast, accurate diagnostic testing through exceptional quality, innovation, and teamwork. As a Specimen Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring every specimen is received, processed, and prepared accurately—providing the foundation for reliable patient results.

Primary Responsibilities

Receive, accession, and process patient specimens for laboratory testing
Verify patient information, test orders, and specimen integrity
Prepare, aliquot, and package specimens for referral laboratory testing
Coordinate daily send-outs while ensuring compliance with shipping and handling requirements
Enter and verify patient and test information within the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
Identify and resolve specimen discrepancies by communicating with client facilities when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation and specimen tracking throughout the testing process
Assist with inventory management, supply stocking, and general laboratory operations
Maintain compliance with CLIA, COLA, HIPAA, and laboratory quality standards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous laboratory, specimen processing, accessioning, phlebotomy, or healthcare experience required
Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment
Day Shift, and No Weekends
