Full Job Description

Family owned Property Management corporate office is searching for an accountant applicant with a strong accounting background and knowledge of payroll and HR. Applicant must be a dependable, hard-working individual who has a strong attention to detail and deadlines to become part of our Accounting Team. This position will report to our Controller. If you have several years of accounting experience including a payroll/HR background and want to make a difference please consider applying for this full-time position with our family owned prestigious property management company.

Staff Accountant/HR Job Responsibilities:

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
General Ledger analysis and making reconciling journal entries.
Produces payroll using ADP.
Helps with the annual audit process.
Ensures permanent files including electronic files are up to date.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Staff Accountant/HR Qualifications / Skills:

Associate's degree in Accounting - Bachelor's in accounting preferred
Research skills
Analyzing information
Attention to detail
Deadline-oriented
Confidentiality
Thoroughness
Financial software
Excellent math skills
2 years experience in accounting/finance
Knowledge of HR/payroll using ADP.
