Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking an Account Clerk 3 to work with our client. In this role, you will responsible for reviewing and processing unclaimed funds claims, validating ownership, ensuring compliance with state laws, communicating with stakeholders, and resolving complex claim issues.

Key Responsibilities

Examines, reviews, verifies and processes claims
Collects background information for validity
Ensures compliance with Unclaimed Fund Laws
Corresponds with claimants and reporting agents
Analyses reports and forms submitted to claims
Processes complex claims with in-depth research
Primary contact person for incoming claimants
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must meet ONE of the following:
- Completion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting;
- Two (2) years of experience in accounting; Must be recent experience
Completion of undergraduate core coursework in business administration, economics, computer science or related field with 16 semester hours or 24 quarter hours in accounting
Proficient with MS office, specifically Excel and have strong computer skills
