Full Job Description

As a Prep Cook, you will be preparing vegetables, fruits, cured meats, raw meats, etc., as well as helping to maintain a clean and organized operation in the newly constructed Little Grand Market..

The menu focuses on Italian sandwiches, salads, and pastries, with limited entrees. Our identity revolves around fresh seasonal ingredients, rotating specials, and a passion for the service industry.

At Frascati Market our mission is to bring the culinary traditions of Abruzzo, Italy to Columbus, Ohio. We have an open concept market style kitchen and encourage interaction with customers who will be enjoying your craftsmanship.

As the sister operation of The Berwick, you will have access to generations of authentic Italian family cooking and passion.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.

· Handle food safely, following proper food handling procedures.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food service.

· Utilize knife skills for food preparation and meal presentation.

- Help serve customers on the service line.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a kitchen environment.

· Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.

· Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
