Job Overview

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Full-Time and Part-Time Lead Daycare Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this rewarding role, you will be the guiding force behind creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. As a Lead Teacher, you will inspire curiosity, foster developmental growth, and build meaningful relationships with children and their families. Your energy, creativity, and expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and joy in our youngest learners. Duties

Lead engaging classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards
Supervise children attentively to ensure safety and well-being at all times
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans incorporating child development instruction and early childhood education best practices
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately
Collaborate with team members to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or disabilities
Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques and behavior management strategies
Ensure compliance with licensing requirements related to childcare and safety protocols

Experience

Prior experience working with children in a daycare center or preschool setting is required
Demonstrated classroom experience managing young children’s needs across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education methodologies
Experience working with children with Autism or on the spectrum
Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is preferred but not mandatory—training can be provided if needed
Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration
Proven ability to manage classroom behaviors effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
