Full Job Description

RenaissanceTech is actively searching for a highly technical, mid-level Full Stack Developer equipped with 5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js.

Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js / AWS)

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, Express.js, and Node.js
Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components and front-end architecture
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js/Express
Assist in the modernization and migration of on-premise applications to AWS cloud-native and SaaS architectures
Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS
Develop, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker
Deploy and manage applications on Amazon ECS/Fargate
Integrate front-end applications with internal and external REST APIs
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver technical solutions
Contribute to application architecture, cloud infrastructure, and development best practices
Participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipeline enhancements
Stay current with modern web development, cloud technologies, and industry best practices

Required Technical Skills

Front-End Development

Strong experience with React
Experience building reusable component libraries and component-based architectures
Experience with:
React Router
State management via Context API
Styled Components or modern CSS solutions
Responsive and mobile-first web design
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3

Backend Development

Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js
Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services
Knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth, SSO)
Experience with API design, integration, and troubleshooting

Cloud & AWS

Experience designing and deploying applications in AWS
Hands-on experience with:
AWS Lambda
API Gateway
ECS
Fargate
CloudFront
S3
RDS
CloudWatch
IAM
Understanding of serverless application design patterns
Experience building scalable and highly available cloud-native solutions

DevOps & Containers

Strong experience with Docker
Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications
Familiarity with:
ECS/Fargate
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using:
GitHub Actions
AWS CodePipeline
AWS CodeBuild
Similar automation tools

Database

Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Ability to write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures
Experience with ORMs such as Sequelize, TypeORM, or Prisma

Preferred Qualifications

Experience migrating legacy or on-premise applications to AWS
Experience with event-driven and serverless architectures
Experience with application monitoring and observability tools
Experience with ERP system integrations
Experience with automated testing for React and Node.js applications

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
