Title: Post Judgment Legal Assistant

Location: Columbus, OH

Are you organized and detail-oriented? Do you enjoy working in a team based, fast paced and high production environment? Levy & Associates, LLC is seeking individuals to work in our Post Judgment Department working on wage garnishment and bank attachments as a Post Judgment Legal Assistant.

Post Judgment Legal Assistant Principle Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and putting together garnishment forms.
Conduct daily review and follow up on garnishments.
Capability to review and comprehend court docket information.
Verify judgment information using court docket or judgment entries.
Handle bank, employer, and court calls regarding pending garnishments.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Adhere to client work standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Post Judgment Legal Assistant Qualifications:

2 years related work experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of court system/legal process.
Prior experience with OH garnishment process preferred but not required.
Detail oriented.
Ability to multi-task and work in a team fostered environment.
Goal oriented and self-motivated.
Willingness to accept feedback.
Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality.

Work Environment:

Office environment.
