Full Job Description

We care about them as if they were our family and take pride in everything we do. Our main office is located in Dayton, Ohio with two affiliate offices located in Columbus and Cincinnati.

Optimus Prosthetics is seeking a Revenue Cycle Team Lead located either in our Dayton or Columbus office.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage payment discrepancies with insurance companies and write and submit appeals
Assist in identifying current and/or potential billing issues specific to outstanding receivables
Present claim data to appropriate parties and partner to develop resolutions and improve cash collections
Demonstrate time management skills and the ability to work independently in collaboration with the administrative and clinical staff
Maintain criteria and conduct internal chart audits
Respond to pre-pay and post-pay audits

Quality Candidates will have:

The successful candidate must have exceptional self management, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with others in a positive manner. As the Revenue Cycle Team Lead for Optimus Prosthetics, you must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to multi-task. In addition, you must have 2 years of previous experience in a medical appeals role, strong understanding of Medicare regulations and payer-specific guidelines, knowledge of HCPCSA codes and modifier usage.
