Full Job Description

Job Overview
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Nurse Aide on second shift (3pm-11pm), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. You’ll provide essential support in a vibrant, person-centered environment. Your role will focus on assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and supporting their overall well-being. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your skills in long-term care, memory care, and assisted living settings while working alongside a supportive team committed to excellence.

Duties

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, bowel and bladder needs.
Following proper protocols and documentation procedures using PointClickCare (PCC) systems
Ability to assist residents in ambulating or transferring from bed, chair, wheelchair or commode.
Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control standards

Skills:

Proven experience in nursing home or long-term care environments with knowledge of assisted living and home & community care practices
Strong understanding of resident’s rights, especially regarding personal dignity and privacy.
Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of resident care activities
Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward senior residents and those needing memory or dementia care
Ability to handle challenges with patience and professionalism.
Ability to work well other team members.
