Duties

As a Flourish Caregiver, you will play an important role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes by:

Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
Providing personal care services, including catheter care when appropriate
Assisting with mobility, transfers, and exercise activities to promote safety and independence
Monitoring changes in client condition and communicating concerns to the healthcare team
Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Assisting with hospice care while maintaining dignity and comfort
Performing light housekeeping and laundry to help maintain a clean and safe living environment
Documenting care provided using established systems to ensure continuity of care

Most importantly, you'll provide reassurance, dignity, and meaningful companionship that allows clients to continue living independently at home.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required
Previous home care or senior care experience preferred
Knowledge of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Experience supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers
Familiarity with hospice care is a plus
Valid driver's license required
Reliable transportation required
Home Health Aide, STNA, or CNA certification is preferred but not required

We are currently hiring caregivers for the following shifts:

Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Afternoon/Evening Shift: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Applicants should be available to work one or both shifts based on client needs and scheduling availability.

Work Location: On the road throughout the Greater Columbus area

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
