Full Job Description

SMACT Works, a fast-growing Oracle Cloud Advisory & Consulting firm (5 Years in a row Inc. 5000 honoree), is hiring a high-energy Business Development Representative to support our Senior Sales Executives in their daily activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, creative, and eager to grow in a dynamic, high-paced environment. This role will assist in driving top-of-funnel activity, nurturing qualified client contacts, building relationships, growing the pipeline, managing the database, executing email campaigns, preparing content, reporting, and handling day-to-day sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct target generation activities using tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, CRM systems, industry databases, and outbound outreach strategies.

· Research accounts, identify decision-makers, and collaborate on prospect lists aligned with SMACT’s technology & service offerings (Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Advisory, Consulting, Managed Services)

· Execute cold calling campaigns, email marketing sequences, social outreach campaigns, conference follow-ups, and nurturing sequences to warm prospects.

· Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and thought leadership outreach

· Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and conversion insights

· Schedule discovery calls, and hand off qualified leads to Sales Executives.

· Maintain accurate, up-to-date lead and opportunity data in the CRM.

· Maintain contact with qualified client prospects and nurture opportunities through the Sales cycle in coordination with Account Executives.

· Support the creation of outreach messaging, value propositions, and micro-campaign content in collaboration with Marketing.

· Monitor and report on lead-generation metrics, including outreach volume, conversion rates, and lead quality.

· Assist Sales Executives with meeting coordination, follow-up emails, and pipeline movement activities.

· Organize sales calls and meetings using Microsoft Teams and Outlook to keep the sales process moving smoothly.

· Continuously refining lead generation strategies to improve efficiency and impact.

· Assist with conference/tradeshow preparation and materials.

· Support brainstorming and development of innovative sales strategies and engagement ideas.

Requirements

· 2-3 years of cold calling experience, preferably in in B2B IT Services

· Exposure to ERP, Cloud, or enterprise technology solutions preferred

· Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging sales ideas and outreach materials.

· Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and digital communication tools.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

· Tactful, helpful demeanor always when dealing with internal customers.

· High-energy, self-motivated, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and brings a positive, lighthearted attitude.

· Persistent and resilient mindset to handle 150-200 cold calls per day.

· Change agile - ability to "switch gears" quickly as issues arise.

· Strong desire to learn about Oracle technologies and develop your Sales career in the industry.
