Dreamshine at Autumn Lakes, LLC – Direct Support Professional (DSP)

$18.00 Per Hour Starting Pay!!!
*After 90 days there is opportunity for raise

Now hiring for a Full Time Rock-star Direct Support Professionals to work with groups of individuals with Developmental Disabilities in our Day Program located in Sunbury, Ohio just 20 minutes northeast of Columbus. Candidates would need to be able to accommodate a schedule that falls between the hours of 7:15am - 5:30pm.

Dreamshine is an innovative, year-round Adult Day Support and Job Skills Program for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are located on a lush 2.5 acres in rural Sunbury with three beautiful buildings: our Log Cabin, Waterfront Lodge and Pirate Ship Building. Within the last year we also purchased a second location only 7 minutes from our main campus. That location sits on 5 acres and boasts fruit trees, vegetable gardens, a greenhouse, hot tub and plenty of trails for nature walks. We are very active at Dreamshine- our participants are continuously learning and interacting with peers and also enjoying activities at the Dreamshine campus such as fishing in our own beautiful pond, tending our vegetable and herb garden, enjoying our on-site hot tubs, exploring the woods, and more! We also get out into the community daily! We love to go bowling, to restaurants, coffee outings, and other fun places!

As a Direct Care Team Member (DSP) at Dreamshine, you will:

Be responsible for daily participant care and activities
Transport individuals with developmental disabilities to and from our program in our company passenger vans
Teach educational, life, social, and job skills
Assist with various levels of care including toileting and eating

Requirements for hire, you must:

Be 18 years old or older
Be able to pass a background check and drug test
