Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Barista Manager and lead the charge in delivering exceptional coffee experiences while managing daily operations with energy and enthusiasm! In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the café environment, from supervising staff and ensuring top-notch customer service to maintaining food safety standards and managing inventory. Your leadership will inspire your team to create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a vibrant hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of baristas and food service staff to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
Oversee daily café operations, including shift management, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours
Manage food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to uphold high quality standards and safety regulations
Utilize POS systems such as Square POS and for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, POS operation, and food production techniques
Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure compliance with food safety standards and hospitality best practices

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with strong supervisory skills
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety management protocols
Hands-on experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and transaction processing
Background in hospitality or restaurant management with a focus on team leadership and staff training
Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food industry regulations
Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training, and team development
Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality
Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable
