Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Culinary Supervisor to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional food experiences across various dining settings. In this role, you will oversee daily food production, ensure adherence to food safety standards, and manage all aspects of kitchen operations with enthusiasm and precision. Your leadership will inspire culinary excellence, foster teamwork, and uphold the highest standards of quality and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional eager to make a positive impact in a vibrant hospitality environment. They will be assisting the Executive Chef/Sous Chef in creating and maintaining impeccable food preparations, visual aesthetics, and quality standards in all areas of operations.

Responsibilities

Shift Needed: 9am-5pm and 3pm-10pm 5 days a week and weekends included.

Supervise and coordinate all food preparation activities, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served according to the recipe cards.
Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing clear guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
Oversee menu planning and development, incorporating culinary creativity while maintaining dietary requirements and customer preferences
Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures at all times
Manage shift schedules, monitor kitchen workflow, and ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced setting

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a culinary or food service environment, preferably within fine dining or banquet settings
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, preparation, and presentation
Background in managing dietary departments or specialized menus is highly desirable
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment
Familiarity with inventory management systems, food safety protocols, and restaurant management practices
Knowledge of food industry trends, menu planning techniques, and kitchen management best practices
