Part – Time Staff Accountant

What You’ll Do:

· Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and accurate transaction coding to ensure proper financial recordkeeping

· Prepare and post routine journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end close activities

· Oversee the accounting inbox, ensuring timely response, follow-up, and resolution of internal and external inquiries

· Support invoicing, collections efforts, purchase order (PO) administration, and check run processing

· Handle mail sorting, documentation, and maintain organized, audit-ready accounting records and files

· Assist with recurring compliance tasks and support process accuracy across accounting operations

· Partner with the team to ensure financial data integrity and smooth day-to-day workflow

· Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel; familiarity with Wrike is a plus but not required

What We’re Looking For:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on accounting experience)
2+ years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role
Strong understanding of AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced) and experience with accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks Online
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive financial information
Experience with Wrike or similar project management tools is a plus, but not required
