Facilities Coordinator JLL

What this job involves:

We are seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Coordinator to support daily operations through technical maintenance and administrative coordination. This role ensures optimal facility performance and exceptional client service while requiring flexibility as business needs evolve.

What your day to day will look like:

Execute work orders, preventative maintenance, and service requests with minimal client disruption while conducting daily facility inspections to maintain clean, safe environments and identify potential hazards.
Perform minor repairs on office furniture and fixtures, and schedule contractor work, tracking all projects through to completion.
Maintain organized records using computerized maintenance management systems and support employee onboarding/offboarding processes, including seating assignments and personnel moves.
Manage procurement activities, vendor follow-up, and maintenance documentation while replenishing office supplies and providing administrative support to the team.
Additionally, set up and break down venues for events and conferences as needed.

Required Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in basic maintenance and vendor management is essential for this role.
U.S. Citizenship and a valid driver's license are required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as computer applications for tracking and documentation.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are critical for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary for managing diverse daily responsibilities.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is highly valued.
Background in preventative maintenance procedures and knowledge of systematic maintenance scheduling would be beneficial.
Prior facilities or commercial property management experience provides additional context for understanding the broader operational environment and client expectations.
