Email Marketing Manager - DTC

About us

SKO Compounds is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer peptide brand in West Hollywood. We ship thousands of orders a month, run on systems we built ourselves, and we're a 15-person team — you'll report directly to the founders.

The role

You own our email marketing, and the job is straightforward. In order:

Learn our current emails. Get deep on every automated email we send today — sign-up, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and the rest — and how each one is set up.
Build clear tracking. Stand up the systems to measure email performance — the exact numbers that tell us what's working and what isn't.
Set up every tracking and conversion point so nothing goes unmeasured.
Optimize. Improve the emails — timing, frequency, triggers — based on the data you're now tracking.

This is a data and metrics role. We're looking for someone elite at tracking, measurement, and KPIs — someone who lives in the numbers and makes the emails perform better because they can see exactly what the numbers are doing. This is not a copywriting job.

It starts solo — you own the channel — with room to grow into a team as it scales.

What we're looking for

Elite at data tracking and metrics. This is the core. You understand email numbers cold — revenue per email, conversion rate, open and click rates, repeat-purchase rate, deliverability — and you know how to set up and measure them.
Proven DTC email experience. You've owned email for an eCommerce brand and driven real revenue from it.
You set up tracking, not just read it. You can build conversion tracking and measurement points from scratch, correctly.
Systems thinker. You can learn an existing setup, find what's leaking, and fix it methodically.
Metrics-driven decisions. You act off data, not guesses.
AI-fluent — you use AI in your daily workflow for analysis, reporting, and segmentation.
Bonus: experience with supplements, nutra, peptides, or CBD and the email deliverability challenges those bring.

Compensation: $70,000–$100,000/year, depending on experience.

Location: On-site, West Hollywood. Full-time.
