Hot Line/Sushi Chef

Maru Sushi + Bar

**No Experience Required**

At Maru Sushi + Bar, our kitchen team is the engine behind the experience. We combine beautifully crafted signature rolls with a modern, organic atmosphere to create memorable moments for every guest. Our culture is chef-driven, hospitality-focused, and rooted in mentorship, growth, and a “Creative Yes” mindset.

We are looking for a Sushi Chef / Line Cook who takes pride in precision, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within a strong culinary team.

What You’ll Do

Execute recipes with consistency in flavor, plating, and portioning
Prepare and produce sushi, raw fish, shareables, and hibachi items with accuracy and urgency
Maintain strong ticket comprehension and organized execution during service
Prep ingredients efficiently and thoughtfully to set up a successful shift
Uphold Maru standards for food quality and presentation at all times
Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout service
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Support teammates and contribute to a positive, high-performing kitchen culture
