Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining two Doosan CNC lathes. You will be in charge of the lathe area and any parts requiring lathe operations.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate lathe to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and solid models
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

Qualifications

- Must be self motivated, able to work alone or in a team environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role

- Read and understand blueprints

- Basic machining knowledge

- Good knowledge of G&M codes

Preferred Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software preferably CAMworks, Visi or Fusion 360

- Good knowledge of lathe tooling

- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
