We are hiring a Quality Manager at our Concord, NC facility.

Responsibilities

· Provide Quality leadership across multiple manufacturing sites — managing, planning, and directing QA staff and activities to ensure consistent Quality support and compliance on the production floor at each location

· Travel to sites as needed to support audits, training, and investigations; partner with site-level Quality leads to aligning local practices with corporate QMS requirements and escalating cross-site risks or trends to the Head of Quality

· Comply with, and ensure staff compliance with, company safety rules and workplace conduct requirements, maintaining a safe, non-discriminatory working environment

· Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and final products to verify compliance with quality standards, manufacturing specifications, and company policies

· Author, review, and maintain technical documentation — quality manuals, policies, SOPs, work instructions, investigation reports, and audit responses — that is clear, accurate, and consistent across sites, ensuring staff are trained on relevant procedures

· Manage the supplier quality program to ensure cGMP compliance over vendors providing materials/services, including relationships with Third Party Testing Labs, Equipment Vendors, and Calibration Suppliers

· Maintain a metrics program with measurables that drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures across sites

· Prepare each site for internal and external audits, ensuring facilities are always audit-ready

· Own change control, deviation, and non-conformance processes in the QMS — initiating, investigating, and closing records, and reviewing submission documents

· Support approval of manufacturing documents (SOP's/WI, Forms)

· Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction across all sites

Key Performance Indicators

Leadership

· Timely closure rate of CAPAs, deviations, and audit findings across all sites within committed due dates

· Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain a QA team across multiple locations, including succession planning for key roles

· Successful alignment of quality objectives and metrics across sites, evidenced by consistent management review reporting and cross-site trend analysis

· Effective influence and collaboration with site operations, engineering, and customer-facing teams without direct authority

Technical Writing

· Produces clear, audit-ready SOPs, work instructions, CAPAs, and investigation reports that pass internal review and customer/regulatory scrutiny with minimal rework

· Maintains harmonized document templates and terminology across sites to support a unified QMS

· Delivers accurate, well-organized written responses to customer complaints and regulatory/auditor requests within required timelines

Pharmaceutical Experience

· Consistent application of cGMP/GDP requirements to pharmaceutical packaging and labeling operations across sites

· Successful support of pharmaceutical customer audits with sustained low-severity finding rates

· Effective management of pharmaceutical customer complaints and supplier quality agreements in accordance with applicable regulatory expectations

Qualifications/Skills Required

· 5 + Years' experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, or similar regulated industry, including direct experience with cGMP/GDP requirements for pharmaceutical packaging, labeling, or supplier quality

· Experience overseeing or supporting Quality functions across multiple manufacturing sites or facilities strongly preferred

· 3+ years direct/indirect supervisory experience and/or leading a team or process, ideally including leadership of staff or initiatives spanning more than one site

· Strong technical writing skills, with demonstrated ability to author and edit SOPs, work instructions, quality manuals, CAPAs, and investigation/audit reports that are clear, accurate, and audit-ready

· Working knowledge of GMPs, ISO standards and production processes

· Ability to work autonomously applying strong problem-solving skills

· Strong communication skills are needed to manage support personnel

· Ability to navigate through our ERP and QMS systems effectively

· Ability to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment

· Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction; ability to travel to Canadian sites as required, including any applicable travel documentation

Physical Requirements

· Safely and effectively handle objects weighing between 15-20 pounds on a consistent basis, with the capability to lift to 50 pounds when required

· Maintain good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

· Sustain physical endurance for a fast-paced work environment

· Operate and work near machinery safely
