MEMBERSHIP SALES REPRESENTATIVE - JOIN OUR TEAM!

If you’re passionate about helping people to improve their lives through fitness, looking for a part-time position to supplement your current life-style or a potential full-time role with our company, come join our Sales team! This position in membership sales offers the opportunity to work in a friendly environment, support your own fitness goals and earn lucrative pay at the same time.

MEMBERSHIP SALES REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a fast-paced and fun environment that caters to the needs of our members and customers. Responsibilities include meeting monthly sales targets, both individually and as a team member, set by the Director of Sales. Sales Representatives will be working to generate leads by way of phone, email, relationships and referrals and are responsible to track progress through a CRM, reporting weekly progress. Additional responsibilities include giving facility tours, explaining all membership types, programming and services, and the ability to listen to a customer’s needs to help steer them toward the appropriate membership offering, program or service. Contracts are done electronically and handling a cash drawer is necessary. Sales representatives are also responsible for scheduling appointments with Personal Trainers and Registered Dieticians, supporting promotions such as open houses, tradeshows or holiday sales, handling escalating customer service issues, managing the customer service sales experience and general public perception of the sales department and company.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS:

Applicant must be able to complete computer work in 3-8 hr. shifts, carry items of up to 25 lbs. This position requires the ability to work offsite when required on project based or corporate related outside sales tasks.

EXPERIENCE:

Sales experience in sales preferred
Experience with CRM preferred
Basic computer skills and knowledge required
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality role preferred
Ability to take direction and execute appropriately
Outgoing personality with team player mentality
High degree of integrity
Above average organizational skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service skills
Above average sales skills
Good communication skills and ability to connect with customers
Ability to multitask in high pressure situations
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
