Position Purpose
The Custom Products Installer is an advanced field installation role responsible for the precise, professional installation of H2H Blinds’ most technically demanding window covering products, including manual and motorized roller shades and plantation shutters, in homeowner direct, retail, and custom residential environments. This position exists to serve clients who require a higher level of technical expertise, product knowledge, and customer-facing professionalism than is required in standard new construction installation contexts. The Custom Products Installer brings craftsmanship, consultative skill, and meticulous attention to detail to every job site, ensuring that each installation meets H2H Blinds’ highest quality standards and leaves the customer with a premium experience.
This position operates under a dual reporting structure, reflecting its unique position at the intersection of sales and field operations. The Custom Products Installer reports to the Business Development Coordinator for customer assignment, scheduling coordination, and client relationship alignment, and to the Field Operations Manager for operational standards, compliance, vehicle and tool management, and day-to-day field execution. Both reporting relationships are active and equally relevant to this role. Success in this position requires the ability to navigate both the customer-centric expectations of the sales channel and the performance standards and accountability structures of the field operations team.
