WHZ Strategic Wealth Advisors is looking to hire a Client Experience & Community Partnerships Associate that takes a ‘tailored’ approach to delivering the most memorable client experience. You must be highly client-oriented and authentic in your demeanor. Ultimately, your goal is to build meaningful relationships with our clients and make them feel extremely valued while meeting their day-to-day needs.

Summary of Responsibilities:

WHZ places the client at the center of delivering on our Plan Well, Invest Well, Live Well promise. Our team works collaboratively to help clients achieve their goals. As a member of the WHZ Client Experience & Relationships Team, the Client Experience & Community Partnerships position is responsible for providing support to existing clients, prospects and to team members.

This team is tasked to help deliver an exceptional client experience at every touch point. This role is responsible for overseeing the business development journey from start to finish to ensure our team is equipped to understand the needs of new clients and how we can best help them. As part of the Client Experience & Community Partnerships role, you will also have responsibility for community relationships and ensuring we are taking a strategic approach to maintaining relationships through representation at events, meeting with COIs and beyond.

Build tailored relationships with clients: You will build meaningful relationships with new clients as their primary contact on day-to-day requests, helping them become familiar with our company and how we can best help them.

Strategic approach to community involvement: As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring our team is represented in the community, at events and local partnership meetings.

Support existing clients and team members: As a dedicated team player you will have a key role in delivering the absolute best wealth management experience for our clients.

This role will spend 50% of time developing new client opportunities, 30% involvement with community relationships, 15% with existing clients (improving the year 1 and 2 of onboarding new clients) and 5% on personal development.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 5 or more years’ experience within the financial industry preferred

· High attention to detail

· Ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines

· Strong organizational, collaborative, and problem-solving skills

· Strong interpersonal skills across various channels of communication (in person, online, phone, email)

· Exceptional communication skills to build client relationships and service expectations

· Ability to work independently and differentiate between matters that should be handled alone versus those that require collaboration across the WHZ team

· Ability to use and learn multiple technology platforms such as Customer Relationship Manager tools, workflow tools, Microsoft Suite, etc.

· Desire to learn financial securities industry and completion of SIE exam within 12 months from hire date

· Desire to work in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment

Compensation:

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 per year

This is a full-time role offering a highly competitive salary and benefits package as part of our Total Rewards Compensation Philosophy including salary, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, short term and long-term disability, Health Insurance, generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.

This is an office-based role with flexibility required between our Tolland, CT and Pomfret, CT offices.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
