Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Event Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive event bookings. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for clients, guiding them through the planning process and ensuring their vision becomes a reality. Your passion for hospitality, strong negotiation skills, and ability to manage multiple events will help us continue to provide outstanding experiences for our guests.

Duties

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract new clients and expand existing accounts within the event industry.
Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored event solutions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service packages to maximize revenue while ensuring client satisfaction.
Collaborate with marketing to promote the venue through targeted campaigns, social media, and event marketing initiatives.
Coordinate with event planning teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including banquet setup, catering, and other hospitality services.
Upsell additional services such as catering, décor, entertainment, and accommodations to enhance client experiences.
Manage budgets for events, track sales metrics, and prepare reports to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.

Experience

Proven experience in event sales, hospitality management, or a related field such as restaurant or hotel sales.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively.
Knowledge of event marketing strategies and event planning processes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.
Experience with banquet operations, catering coordination, or restaurant/hospitality environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with contracts, budgeting, guest services, and upselling techniques.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional customer service.
