Full Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for daily oversight of the maintenance team, which consists of maintenance technicians and janitorial staff. Additionally, this position manages key systems including critical spares inventory, some calibrations, and comprehensive preventative maintenance on all production and facilities assets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (additional responsibilities as assigned)

Supervise the maintenance team. This includes leading regular maintenance team meetings to ensure work is assigned to all team members and the preventative maintenance items are being performed in a timely manner.
Prioritize a safety-first culture and enforce compliance to EHS policies within the maintenance team, equipment, and facility.
Train team in processes and procedures and maintain appropriate training records.
Maintain maintenance management system. This includes regular review to make sure all assets are tracked and categorized correctly and that all necessary PM’s for each asset are setup.
Regularly monitor critical spares inventory to allow for quick repair and replacement of critical production equipment.
Manage contractors as necessary and coordinate maintenance team to support engineering projects as needed.
Trouble shoot equipment failures and be able to perform hands on work as necessary to minimize production impact from equipment outages.
Foster continuous improvement by working with the maintenance team to identify and implement operational improvements.

Education

Minimum of High School diploma
BS in relevant field would be an advantage.

Knowledge and Experience

5+ Prior experience working in manufacturing in a maintenance capacity.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Good oral and written communication skills are necessary
Prior experience with CMMS system (Fiix, Maximo or other asset management system)
Strong troubleshooting abilities. Must be able to lead maintenance team in identifying equipment issues and finding solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
