Our goal is to provide reliable oil changes and educate our customers on vehicle maintenance rather than sell services. Take 5 was ranked #1 in customer satisfaction for quick oil changes by J.D. This position is with Garage Holdings LLC (a Take 5 franchisee), which is rapidly opening new Take 5 Oil Change stores in the Minnesota market. Position Overview:

A successful District Manager creates a productive working atmosphere in our stores and oversees store managers who are committed to the company’s success. The District Manager is responsible for creating the overall vision for each store in their district, establishing benchmarks for store management teams, and implementing policies and programs that will help those teams achieve their goals.

We have a flexible work environment. You can choose whether to office at one of our locations or work from home. This position requires local travel between stores as well as 1-3 business trips a year outside of Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

Culture Development and Strategic Planning:

Exhibits and fosters company core values.
Determines priorities and allocates resources effectively to meet targets/KPI’s.
Sets action plans with store management team within the district that align with company objectives, provide unparalleled customer service, and maintain brand standards.

Employee Development & Team Building:

Develops and maintains positive relationships with employees in the district by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns.
Develops a leadership pipeline to support company growth and manages district-wide staffing levels.
Manages district-wide store management team by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve performance.

Sales:

Regularly utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in district performance.
Expected to drive sales performance in the stores (B to C sales) as well as build out our fleet program (B to B sales).
Works with marketing department and leadership team to develop sales promotions.

Operations:

Manage inventory levels at all stores.
Strategic relationships with suppliers.
Maintain brand standards and conduct store audits.
Handle customer complaints/claims.

Good to Know Before You Start:

Be prepared for early or late hours and working approximately 50 hours per week (particularly during the opening process for a new store in your district).
You will attend Take 5 Manager training, which consists of a paid, 3-week training course during your first 2 months of employment (requires travel outside of Minnesota).
This is a physical job as you will be out on the shop floor and working on vehicles at times. You should be prepared to change oil in order to maintain the company culture.

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing multiple stores/locations ideally in a retail or food service environment.
Aptitude to analyze data and reports to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn web-based applications.
Has an entrepreneurial approach – resourceful, creative, flexible, decisive, and growth-oriented.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel out of state for initial training.
No automotive experience is necessary but have an interest in the automotive industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting at $80,000.00 per year base salary.
In addition, this position is eligible for a management bonus program (target range of $10,000 to $20,000 a year with growth as more stores are added).
