Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced employee benefit plan administrator to serve as an Assistant Account Manager on our Client Services Team. The Assistant Account Manager will support approximately 6 client relationships under the direction of their Account Manager.

The Assistant Account Manager coordinates and interfaces with a full support staff. To be successful in this role, you should be experienced in administering health and retirement plans, be well-organized, have great time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent computer and software skills. This is an in-person position in Pembroke Pines, FL.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Account Manager, department managers and internal staff regarding all aspects of administering clients' employee benefit plans
Provide general and administrative support to the Account Manager and clients
Maintain effective relationships with participants, trustees, collective bargaining parties, professional advisors, service providers and others on behalf of the clients' benefit plans
Manage internal and external service requests and projects
Complete tasks and compliance activities in strict adherence to deadlines
Conduct meeting planning activities, including arranging travel, making catering arrangements and serving as the primary contact for hotels and other meeting venues.
Attend client meetings, prepare meeting agendas and materials for consideration, take notes and manage follow up action item lists
Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
Prepare letters, documents and forms

Skills:

5+ years of work experience in benefit plan administration is preferred, such as health, defined benefit and defined contribution funds.
CEBS Preferred
Excellent MS Office knowledge
Outstanding analytical, organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Discretion and confidentiality
