nonPareil Institute is a nonprofit organization that empowers adults with autism through technology, vocational training, and community engagement. Every role at nonPareil contributes to our mission of creating opportunities for individuals to develop their talents, increase independence, and lead fulfilling lives. As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, your work will help support the financial operations that make these programs possible.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team in Plano, Texas. This is an on-site position requiring regular attendance at our Plano location during standard business hours.

This role is responsible for managing billing, collections, and account administration for customer accounts, as well as accounts funded through CLASS and Vocational Rehabilitation programs. The position serves as a key point of contact for customers, counselors, and funding partners while helping ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable activities for customer, CLASS, and Vocational Rehabilitation accounts.
Prepare and issue invoices accurately and timely.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on unpaid accounts.
Perform collection activities in a professional, customer-focused manner.
Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding billing questions and account inquiries.
Act as a liaison with CLASS and V/R counselors regarding billing, authorizations, and account-related matters.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
Assist with funding program documentation and related administrative requirements.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and compliance with program requirements.
Prepare reports and provide updates on accounts receivable activity as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
Two years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and customer account management.
Proficiency in English, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a plus.
Experience working with government-funded programs or contract-based funding arrangements is a plus.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Maintain a positive, customer-focused approach while balancing accountability and results.
