Director of Marketing

Reports To: President
Direct Reports: Digital Marketing Manager, Content Manager
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid)
Travel: Occasional travel throughout the DFW Metroplex to support restaurant locations, events, openings, and marketing initiatives.

Position Summary

A restaurant group in DFW is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead all marketing efforts across our growing portfolio of 10+ restaurant locations and multiple brands. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive guest traffic, increase brand awareness, strengthen community engagement, and support revenue growth.

The Director of Marketing will oversee a Digital Marketing Manager and Content Manager while ensuring all marketing initiatives are executed on time, on brand, and aligned with company goals. This leader must be equally comfortable creating high-level strategy and rolling up their sleeves to support day-to-day execution when needed.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, possesses exceptional project management skills, and can build structured timelines, priorities, and accountability systems that keep the marketing team focused and moving forward.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Brand Leadership

Develop and execute annual and quarterly marketing strategies for all restaurant brands and concepts.
Create campaigns that drive guest acquisition, frequency, retention, and overall sales growth.
Ensure brand consistency across all locations, channels, and guest touchpoints.
Partner with executive leadership to support new restaurant openings, concept launches, promotions, and growth initiatives.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and guest insights to identify opportunities.

Team Leadership & Project Management

Lead, coach, and develop the Digital Marketing Manager and Content Manager.
Establish clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations for the marketing team.
Create and maintain detailed marketing calendars, project timelines, and task management systems.
Assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed on time and at a high standard.
Conduct regular team check-ins to review priorities, remove obstacles, and maintain accountability.
Build scalable processes that support future company growth.

Digital Marketing Oversight

Oversee digital advertising strategies, including paid social, search, display, and location-based marketing.
Monitor website performance, SEO initiatives, online ordering promotions, and email marketing campaigns.
Review key performance indicators and campaign results, making adjustments as needed to maximize ROI.
Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure budgets and resources are allocated effectively.

Content & Social Media Leadership

Guide the development of content strategies across social media, email, website, and promotional channels.
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and business objectives.
Collaborate with the Content Manager to create engaging campaigns that showcase food, hospitality, culture, and community involvement.
Oversee photography, videography, influencer partnerships, and brand storytelling efforts.

Local Store Marketing & Community Engagement

Develop local marketing initiatives that support individual restaurant performance.
Partner with operations leaders to identify opportunities for community involvement, partnerships, and events.
Support grand openings, seasonal promotions, fundraisers, and special events.
Create tools and resources that help restaurant leaders execute local marketing efforts effectively.

Analytics & Performance Management

Track and report on marketing performance metrics across all brands.
Analyze campaign effectiveness, guest engagement, traffic trends, and promotional results.
Present marketing performance updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
Utilize data to make informed decisions and continuously improve marketing efforts.

QualificationsRequired

5+ years of progressive marketing experience.
3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and marketing projects.
Experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience overseeing social media, digital advertising, content creation, and local store marketing.
Familiarity with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Google Ads, email marketing systems, reputation management tools, and analytics platforms.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout DFW as needed.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit marketing experience.
Experience supporting multiple brands or concepts simultaneously.
