ClearCut Rehab & Diagnostics is currently seeking a high energy, passion filled, and sales motivated individual that has a love for community and helping others. We need someone with a great back ground in insurance verification, authorizations, high volume phone calls, scheduling, and overall helping to assist our other front office specialists to make sure operations run smoothly. We currently have a great team of three individuals in the front office, and one is going out on maternity leave, so we are looking to replace her full time position.

The qualified applicant will have a lot of independence with this position but will also have immediate mentorship in any area that's needed. This position is extremely important to the efficiency and quality of work of each healthcare provider here, and the candidate will feel just as much a part of the team as every other employee.

POSITION TYPE: Physical Therapy Front Office Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, with half days on Fridays.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

This position will include a variety of tasks centered around onboarding new patients, coordinating their scheduling, payments, and care, as well as assisting with the overall personal experience that sets us apart as a company. We want this experience to be as pain free as possible for the patient, and in the world of dealing with insurance, payments, and scheduling, it takes a unique person to be able to do this. A big part of this position is also helping market our services via phone calls, texts, and emails. To do that, we will work closely with you so that you can effectively communicate specifics about our business and skill set to attract and retain patients. To sum it up, we are looking for someone to help make sure people get on our schedule so that they arrive, pay, stay, and have great experiences.

Front Desk Patient Services:

Greeting and checking in patients.
Coordinating communication between doctors, staff, and patients as needed.
Creating a welcoming and memorable environment for the patient.
Obtain and verify patient insurance information.
Obtain and verify insurance authorization for therapy when needed.
Loading patients into our EMR system.
Provide information to patients advising them of their financial responsibility and payment required at each visit.
Checking and sending faxes.
Calling new patients to schedule.
Reaching out to patients that have been absent.
Properly collecting payments throughout the day from patients and entering into our software.
Answering payment related questions.
Working with significant attention to detail to note all of this information in our system.

REQUIREMENTS:

Understanding of diversified insurance plans.
Basic knowledge medical terminology is required.
Maturity to withstand the pressure that may arise in relation to the staff, patients, and physicians.
Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, & Email) a must with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
High comfort level with learning new technology and different websites/platforms we use to manage leads, contacting patients, and scheduling.
US Work authorization is a requirement.
Patient empathy and compassion!
Willingness to work as a team player to meet the common goals of the organization.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must have extremely detailed documentation.
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1 year of medical front office experience is required.
1 year of physical therapy front office experience is preferred but not required.
Sales experience from any setting preferred but not required.
Bilingual in Spanish/English is very helpful but not required.
