Full Job Description

Job Overview
CDA InterCorp is seeking a high-potential Human Resources professional who can operate as both a hands-on HR leader and a business partner to the organization. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will work closely with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality and other functions to build organizational capability, improve performance and develop the talent required to support CDA's growth. This is not a purely administrative HR role. The successful candidate will be expected to understand the business, identify issues, challenge conventional thinking, use data to drive decisions and take ownership for delivering results. The role provides significant exposure to the leadership team and is intended for an individual with the capability and desire to take on increasing responsibility as they develop within the business.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and leadership team on organizational, talent and employee-related matters.
Develop a strong understanding of CDA's business, operating priorities and workforce requirements and translate those needs into practical HR actions.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the organization, including regular engagement with employees and leaders on the shop floor.
Own employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, corrective actions and resolution of workplace concerns.
Drive a strong performance-management culture through clear expectations, timely feedback, coaching and accountability.
Support organizational design, workforce planning and staffing decisions based on current and future business requirements.
Develop succession plans, internal talent pipelines and development actions for critical positions.
Identify high-potential employees and work with leaders to create meaningful development opportunities and measurable stretch assignments.
Lead and support recruiting activities for critical positions while continuously improving CDA's ability to attract high-quality talent.
Analyze workforce and HR data including turnover, absenteeism, staffing, retention, recruiting effectiveness and other key indicators to identify issues and recommend actions.
Partner with Operations and functional leaders to ensure staffing and organizational capability support productivity, delivery and growth objectives.
Support compensation, benefits, leave administration and other HR programs while maintaining appropriate internal controls and compliance.
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes, improve responsiveness and eliminate non-value-added activity.
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives based on specific business needs rather than programs for their own sake.
Support broader business initiatives and take on responsibilities outside traditional HR boundaries when required.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Human Resources role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, prefer advanced business degree
Travel up to 20% may be required

To conform to U.S. export control regulations, requirements of this position include being eligible to work with export-controlled products and related data without restriction.
