We are a long-established company headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa that provides supportive services to senior and family populations in multi-family affordable housing locations across Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. We make sure the people we support get access to medical care, housing services, and state and federal human services benefits as well as activity programs that help achieve the specific goals of each location.

Our 50+ staff members create enriching programs that help the residents get more out of life and give them the tools to thrive. More details about our company will be provided after screening and before our initial virtual interview.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Manager with strong leadership skills to join our company that provides Residential Supportive Services in the Multi-Family Affordable Housing industry. This role will be responsible for managing staff compliance and training for part-time, contract, and PRN professionals, both administrative and clinical health staff. This role requires someone to have a confident and decisive work style. You will have ample opportunities to implement your own program ideas to meet our company goals.

We want to work with someone who is experienced with Supportive Services Programs in a multi-family affordable housing setting and is excited to share that experience with our crew of 50+ staff members who serve residents in a wide variety of community settings. The ability to embrace diversity and nurture an open-minded and creative environment to help our staff build amazing programs is a must. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a high level of critical thinking skills who has been proven successful with implementing creative solutions for any challenges that come their way. Organizational skills are required to keep staff management tasks running smoothly.

This position is hybrid and primarily off-site with some travel to our office in Mt. Lebanon, PA and various staff locations. You will have the opportunity to attend educational conferences for learning experiences and networking opportunities to meet other leaders within the industry. A history of successful hybrid or remote work is required, as is a proven ability to use technology tools that help remote teams work together efficiently.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create accurate job descriptions, and establish hiring priorities.
Administer effective onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
Develop relationships with professional organizations and educational institutions to build a strong network across many industries.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and provide continuous training to staff
Develop and oversee staff training programs to ensure new hires meet quality standards in compliance with Supportive Service Coordination defined by the PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA)
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, clinical training, and employment laws.
Monitor staffing metrics and create regular reports on staff hours, program goals and achievement, staff reporting requirements, and other relevant KPIs
Create an environment that encourages confidence, independence, and proactive planning with our staff.

Qualifications

A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related fields
3+ years of experience in clinical and administrative staff management
Experience with leadership development is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in personnel compliance management
Strong knowledge of affordable housing industry regulations and compliance requirements with an emphasis on standards issued by the PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA).
Proven track record of successful remote working arrangements
Experience with PRN and part-time workforce management
Background check and clearances are requirements under the Child Protective Services Law: PA State Child Abuse, PA State Police Report, and FBI Fingerprinting at your own cost.

Required Skills

Working within a remote/hybrid team, high level technology skills with easy adoption of web-based workflows is a must-have skill. There are daily, weekly, monthly, and year-long objectives that require the Staff Manager to have a fundamentally strong level of task and data organization.
