Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of grout lines and tiled surfaces using specialized tools and cleaning agents.
- Apply sealants to grout lines to prevent staining and damage, ensuring long-lasting results.
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed to maintain surface integrity and appearance.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring types.
- Utilize carpet cleaning and janitorial techniques to support comprehensive environmental services.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness through detailed custodial practices, including sweeping, mopping, and detailed surface cleaning.
- Document work performed, including before-and-after photos and service reports for quality assurance.
Experience
- Prior experience on tile and floor care is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to grout, tile, carpet cleaning, and floor buffing.
- Experience with environmental services or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, steam cleaners, and grout removal tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough work completion.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy equipment, and perform manual tasks throughout the workday. We are a locally owned, veteran- and family-operated company proudly serving the Greater Charlotte area. We’re seeking someone with experience, strong attention to detail, professionalism, and pride in their craftsmanship.

Job Summary
The Tile Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of tile surfaces with precision and quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has experience in tile installation, surface preparation, remodeling, and customer interaction, along with the ability to work independently or alongside a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project plans
- Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass, and other tile materials
- Mix and apply grout, mortar, thinset, caulking, and related materials
- Ensure proper spacing, leveling, waterproofing, and adhesion
- Perform floor preparation, concrete repair, and water damage restoration as needed
- Complete remodeling-related tasks including trim work, fixture installation, painting prep, and minor carpentry
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain clean, professional job sites and high-quality finishes
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Assist with material estimates and project planning when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tile installation and related construction work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of flooring installation techniques and surface preparation
- Comfortable reading blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings
