Position Overview

We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys turning plans into action. In this role, you'll be a key member of our project team, helping coordinate schedules, track progress, manage documentation, communicate with field teams and clients, and keep projects moving from kickoff to completion. You'll work alongside upper management, field crews, and industry-leading clients on projects that help power California's future.

Our Project Coordinators play a vital role in keeping projects organized, on schedule, and moving efficiently from planning through completion. Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate project activities from kickoff through closeout, supporting the Project Manager on schedule tracking, budget documentation, and permitting. Includes travel to multiple jurisdictions to pull permits

· Enter and maintain daily crew schedules in QuickBooks Time (TSheets) based on direction from the Project Manager.

· Distribute next-day assignments to field crews and update the schedule as changes are directed.

· Collaborate with project team members to develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

· Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Conduct regular meetings with project team members to track progress and address any issues or concerns.

· Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation.

· Ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

· Manage project resources effectively to optimize productivity and efficiency.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks or obstacles that may impact project success

· Foster positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

· Escalations and after-hours calls are handled by the Project Manager

Requirements

· Proven 2+ years experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role. (Construction experience in Telecommunication or Electric Vehicle Industry preferred)

Valid CA driver's license, clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug test

· AA or Bachelor's in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)

· QuickBooks Time (TSheets) experience preferred

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to read construction drawings and redlines.

· Knowledge of Excel, Outlook/Teams, client portals

· Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality

· Strong problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support project and company needs
