Job Description and Duties

Join Our Team as an Environmental Analyst!

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional to support critical conservation and regulatory efforts in California. Under the direction of an Environmental Program Manager I, the successful candidate will independently perform a range of analytical duties related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), California Endangered Species Act (CESA), Lake and Streambed Alteration (LSA) Program, and the Natural Community Conservation Planning Program (NCCP).

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on environmental stewardship, collaborate with dedicated colleagues, and help shape responsible resource management across the state. This position may be eligible for a telework opportunity in accordance with departmental policies and operational needs. Working Conditions

The incumbent will report to the Seal Beach Office. Must be able to attend, in person, meetings in Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties. As a condition of employment, the incumbent shall wear an appropriate uniform consistent with CDFW’s Operations Manual (Section 12901) for the various work situations, such as work with public interaction, within and outside the Region as required by the supervisor.
