Schedule: Early Morning Start (4:00 AM)
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: $16.00–$21.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 20–40 hours per week

Join the Opening Bakery Team at TOUS les JOURS Albuquerque!

Do you enjoy creating beautiful cakes, artisan breads, and fresh pastries? TOUS les JOURS is opening New Mexico's first French-Asian bakery café, and we're looking for passionate bakers and cake decorators to join our opening team. Whether you have professional bakery experience or a strong desire to learn, we'll provide the training, support, and tools you need to help create high-quality baked goods our guests will love every day.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including artisan breads, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches, following established recipes and quality standard
Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, frosting, and edible decorations to meet customer specifications.
Package finished products carefully for presentation and sale, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various baked items.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and decorating tools.
Ensure all products meet quality standards before presentation or delivery to customers or display areas.
Support the team during catering events or special orders as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is a plus.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
Strong skills in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing.
Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes.
Familiarity with food production processes within a bakery or restaurant setting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior experience in the food industry or catering is preferred but not required.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members effectively
