Full Job Description

HR COORDINATOR

Location: Jet Stream International | Hubbard, OH | Full-Time

Hours: DAYSHIFT | Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Pay: $18-$22 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR Coordinator provides administrative support across all HR functions, ensuring accurate employee records, smooth onboarding, and strong department organization. You will be the main point of contact for personnel within your facility. You will also help assist the HR Department with a variety of day-to-day needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Prepare new hire packets, badges, onboarding materials.
Enter HRIS updates, status changes, and employee file maintenance.
Schedule interviews, orientations, and training events.
Assist with sending offer letters, managing background checks, drug screens, physicals.
Ensure I-9 and compliance documentation accuracy.
Support payroll and benefits with data entry.
Audit daily timecards for errors or missing punches.
Handle employee inquiries and redirect them as appropriate.
Follow established recruiting and onboarding processes and documentation standards.
Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees
Maintains human resource information system records
Ensures facility training materials are updated, standardized, organized and accessible in a central location
Maintains a facility-wide training schedule which includes new hire orientation, job skills training, cross-training, and coach development training
Keeps Leadership Team updated on current training initiatives, training needs and results
Collects and catalogues training feedback from job skill coaches and team members after initial training
Assist with basic health care questions from employees as well as helping other HR team members with paperwork and organization
Assisting HR Department with employee relations activites

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree in human resources or related field
1 to 2 years of human resource experience
