Full Job Description

Summary:

Provides administrative and data entry support for purchasing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records related to materials, production, transfers, invoices, and purchase orders while ensuring information is properly entered, organized, and distributed to the appropriate departments.

Responsibilities:

Receives information daily receiving, production and transfer of materials. Regarding and inputs such information daily into appropriate computer system. Files materials after approval by Purchasing Supervisor.
Inputs Invoices into appropriate software program and takes them to Accounting department after approval of Purchasing Manager (Supervisor?).
Receives and delegates daily transfer requests from Deere plant.
Does transfers and batch reports, filing them on a daily basis.
Date stamps and sorts mail.
Matches invoices with corresponding packing slip
Inputs all information into computer
Makes copies of invoices and give originals to Purchasing Manager for final approval and payment.
Creates Purchase Orders for material purchases.
Creates invoices for payment.
Downloads daily production schedule and sends it to Shipping and QC
departments.
Creates material check sheets daily and sends them to the receiving department.
Assists the supply window as needed.
Other duties as assigned

Qualification and Requirements:

1 years previous related office experience (Purchasing experience is preferred).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Competent in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Able to learn and use competently company SAP.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent ability to follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Very good communications skills in English, both written and verbal
