Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize restaurant performance, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties

Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high service standards opening or closing
Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items
Utilize POS systems such as Sams POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment
Supervise kitchen operations and FOH operations, including food production,
Conduct regular staff interviews, performance evaluations, and manage scheduling to optimize staffing efficiency
Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
Enforce health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation standards, and workplace safety

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and hospitality management
Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership skills in a restaurant or culinary environment
Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management practices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Experience with culinary operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food production processes
Previous assistant manager experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
Ability to train staff effectively on food handling procedures, safety standards, and operational protocols
