Provides administrative support to Store Manager and department; schedules meetings and appointments; maintains office calendar and makes travel arrangements; prepares correspondence, memos, and other documents utilizing computer software applications.
Maintains store filing system; maintains correspondence/document tracking logs; performs routine clerical tasks, such as processing incoming and outgoing mail, data entry, filing, faxing, photocopying; sorts and distributes mail and faxes; maintains attendance logs and time sheets; maintains confidentiality.
Assists in the recruitment and selection of applicants for employment in accordance with the Human Resource Manual; trains and supervises store clerks, deli clerks, and maintenance; responsible to ensure all team members receive proper training as required by the Enterprises.
Maintains schedules, completes performance evaluations and disciplinary actions; approves leave requests; processes, approves and submits payroll vouchers; assists with job duties of supervised staff as needed; may provide replacement or backup for supervised team members, Inventory Clerk and Store Manager as needed.
Ensures proper work schedules are implemented and assigns specific duties and/or shifts in accordance to the level of business activity to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.
Provides timely and accurate financial reporting to the Finance department of all daily work including but not limited to; maintaining accounts payable and receivable records for all operations of the Express Store; receives invoices, makes copies for store records, and submits invoices in a timely manner to Finance office for payment.
Assists in price control, and bid process as necessary, for products ordered; generates daily, monthly, and annual financial reports utilizing computer software applications as required and requested by Store Manager.
Prepares and assures accuracy of daily deposits of revenue generated from sales of products. Maintains and monitor's store clerk variances and balancing percentages in accordance with the Finance manual.
Assists in the development and implementation of annual marketing and business plans; assists in the coordination of all store marketing activities; assists in the implementation and coordination of all sales promotions and store merchandising activities; supports the implementation of all store sales goals and trains supervised staff on all store promotional activities to increase store sales and profitability.
Provides accounting for and submission of proceeds of sale of Tribal fishing permits; oversees and adheres to the guidelines of the Idaho Lottery contract.
Obtains an U.S Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Underground Storage Tanks Class A and B Certifications.
Assists in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Underground Storage Tanks Class C Certification for Store Clerks.
Assists Inventory Clerk in identifying new or replacement products; prepares requisitions for office supplies, grocery products, tobacco products, fuel products, and other merchandise as needed.
Assists Store Manager ln all aspects of store operations that affect the on-site survey's achieving exceptional ratings on store cleanliness and customer service; consistently manages all staff in all aspects of customer service; responds to customer requests, inquiries, or complaints, assuring excellent customer service.
Assists Store Manager in daily dealings with vendors, receiving orders, quarterly inventories, tracking of fuel sales, fuel deliveries, and fuel profit/loss.
Provides courteous professional services and is cordial to internal and external customers and/or vendors; conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner to reflect the Clearwater River Casino and Lodge's high standard of excellence; use of proper interpersonal skills when dealing with customers and team members.
Adheres to and promotes compliance with applicable laws, safety codes, employee handbook, Vehicle Use Maintenance Manual, Finance Manual and department policies and procedures.
Must have a positive work history; responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record; must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Directly responsible for training, conducting or coordination of training of team members within area(s) of responsibility. Training to include job core skills training, teamwork, customer service, communications and all training required to be compliant with gaming regulations.
Directly responsible for the development of team members competence and reduction of team member turnover in order to improve operating and administrative efficiencies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
