Full Job Description

Young at Heart is seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver, Home Care Aide, or CNA to join our team full-time at our Adult Day Center in Willow Springs.

This position combines caregiving with transportation services for our adult day clients. You'll help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment while assisting with daily care activities, companionship, and transportation to and from our facility using a company vehicle.

This is a full-time position. Monday and Tuesday availability is required. Our Adult Day Center operates Monday-Friday, the remaining weekday schedule will be based on staffing needs and candidate availability. Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an occasional start time of 6:30 a.m. for transportation shifts.

Our ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with seniors, has a positive attitude, and is comfortable assisting our clients both in our Adult Day Center and during transportation to and from the facility.

Job Requirements

All caregivers must:

Have previous caregiving experience or CNA certification preferred- We are willing to train great candidates for those that do not have experience
Have experience transporting passengers or be willing to learn to safely operate a company passenger van
Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work
Have the ability to work weekday shifts between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an occasional start time of 6:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday availability are required
Be available to work one required weekend a month providing care to our in-home clients and be able to commute to these client's homes near Willow Springs and surrounding communities
Have a high school diploma, or equivalent
Pass an IDPH criminal background clearance/fingerprinting
Be compassionate, friendly, and reliable
