Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels through meticulous stock monitoring, data collection, and analysis using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and improve pricing models.
Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to generate insightful reports on inventory trends, demand planning, and supply chain analytics.
Coordinate with warehouse teams on materials handling, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials management to ensure efficient stock movement.
Perform regular cycle counts and physical audits to maintain inventory accuracy; lead process improvement initiatives for stocking and storage practices.
Support logistics operations including 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, freight scheduling, and shipping documentation to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

<Requirements>

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or supply chain roles with a focus on inventory control.
Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, MS Excel (including data mining), and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like SAP or AS400, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively within complex supply chain environments.
Hands-on experience operating forklifts or other materials handling equipment; certification preferred.
Excellent negotiation skills for procurement activities; familiarity with contracts and supplier management is advantageous.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret large datasets for demand planning, pricing strategies, and category management.
