Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant/Cook to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast options, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary skills while ensuring a warm and inviting breakfast experience.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Set up breakfast stations, including arranging food displays and replenishing supplies as needed
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures and cleaning protocols
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, toasters, and food processors
Handle manual tasks such as food portioning, weight handling, and processing cash transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system
Provide friendly in-person customer service, greeting guests warmly and addressing any dietary needs or inquiries
Follow food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service, preferably in a hospitality or culinary setting
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Strong customer service skills with a focus on in-person interactions
Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus
Ability to lift weights safely during food handling and cleaning tasks
Culinary experience or fine dining background is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge of wine pairing or wine knowledge is an advantage for enhancing guest experience
