Responsibility as a Contracts Manager:

This role will report to CFO and work closely with counterparts in all areas of the organization including Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Product, to ensure contractual posture and adherence to Red Book Connect’s process and policies. This individual will oversee and participate in the negotiating, structuring, and management of contractual documents that establish and/or renew business relationships with customers and/or partners. An outstanding individual contributor will advise management of contractual rights and obligations while providing clear interpretation of terms and conditions.

Requirements

You are:

An excellent negotiator with the keen ability to exercise your persuasive skills to enable successful execution of contracts using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. You have a thorough understanding of the contract process including draft and revisal, evaluation, negotiation, approval, reports and signature process. You are a Contracts Manager that always maintains cool under pressure, is flexible, adaptable, and excited to work in our ever-changing entrepreneurial environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proven success working collaboratively with cross-functional local, national and international teams to support and develop processes for contract and order processing, and revenue recognition.
Expertise in reviewing, negotiating and drafting legal agreements; specifically contracts, statement of works, partner agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
Excellent knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies.
Advises and makes recommendations to management regarding contract interpretation.
Excellent problem solving techniques – Skilled in resolving complex issues with alternative solutions to contractual issues as they arise in contract negotiations.
Strong to excellent analytical, influencing and communication skills.

Experience with the following is a plus:

High tech or restaurant industry experience preferred.

Qualifications:

Only Atlanta, GA based candidates will be considered.
Bachelor’s degree plus a significant number of years of progressive, related experience. Advanced degree highly desirable.
Thorough understanding of the contract process including contract evaluation, negotiation, approval, reports and signature process.
Ability to work and meet critical deadlines with careful attention to detail.
Excellent inter-personal skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
