Job Description

We are looking for a Floral Designer to join our team and create beautiful floral arrangements for everyday, weddings, events, and special occasions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and with a team. We are also looking for someone who loves talking with people and is comfortable chatting with customers. The candidate should be a quick learner with a keen eye for detail. You will be expected to work closely with the Owner, General Manager, and co-workers.

Duties include

Create custom floral arrangements for daily orders, weddings, events, and special occasions.
Drive and Deliver Flowers if needed
Maintain a clean workspace and maintain high standards of workmanship
Work in a team environment to ensure an efficient workflow and smooth customer service experience
Handle incoming orders from customers while maintaining a professional demeanor
Provide support to customers when needed (e.g., provide information about flowers, answer questions about availability of specific flowers, suggest products that will best meet the needs of customers’ requests)

Skills:

Proven work experience as a floral designer or similar role in the wedding industry
Thorough knowledge of florals, plants, plants’ names, and characteristics is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!
Excellent communication skills (written & oral) are required. We expect you to be able to communicate with our customers in a professional manner at all times.
