Full Job Description

Preferred Search Group is partnering with Dr. Karen Williamson, DDS in Rockwell, TX to find a Patient Coordinator. This is a critical role in the overall success of the practice and the ideal candidate will have previous collections and treatment coordinator experience. Pay for this position is $25-28/hour depending on experience.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 7a-4p

Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
Handle new patient calls and re-care patient calls.
Post insurance payments and manage the AR of the practice
Prepare and monitor practice statistics and provide to doctor for daily and weekly team members
Coordinate marketing projects
Coordinate time sheet submittal and payroll submission promptly
Coordinate training of new team members on computer software
Complete new team member packets in a timely manner
Coordinate all vacation schedules and requests for time off with doctor and add to schedule
Coordinate training for all newly hired team members
Coordinate coverage for team members during sick days, CEU or vacation and fill in for other office personnel as needed
Balance petty cash on hand and be accountable for receipts and reconciling
Take responsibility for the security and accounting for all cash and checks
Make necessary entries to computer, insurance updates, balance updates, payments, etc
Ensure insurance claims are submitted electronically and within 24 hours of procedure (making corrections if needed, resubmitting if needed)
Ensure health of Insurance AR by making sure it is complete by the 10th of each month
Run Audit Trail each day
Review production and collection reports daily
Ensure all team members maintain proper licensure
Support consultations as needed
Ensure X-ray and maintenance logs are current and compliant
Ensure inside and outside of office is kept tidy and neat

Requirements

Previous collections and treatment coordinating experience
Experience working in a fee for service office highly desired
High school diploma
